Barbara started learning the piano at the age of 5. After graduating from the 1st-degree music school, she began studying at one of the best music high schools in Poland - the State Secondary Music School in Katowice. In 2016, she graduated from high school with honours, thus starting her studies at the Poznan Academy of Music, also in Poland.
In 2021, Barbara obtained a Master of Arts degree in Piano Performance. She graduated with honours. In September 2021 she will start an internship at the Royal Irish Academy of Music with prof. Lance Coburn.
Barbara has been working as a piano teacher since 2016. While living in Poland, she worked in two music schools, teaching both young children and adults.
Barbara adjusts teaching to the student's preferences. She prepares students for RIAM exams or teaches them fun pieces, depending on the goal of each individual student.
Her greatest achievement as a teacher was to completely combat the panic stage fright of one of her students. Barbara is always smiling but is also a demanding teacher. A big smile is her trademark.
As a pianist, Barbara performs both as a soloist and as a chamber musician. She has performed in Poland and abroad in Europe.
She won prizes at national and international competitions. Barbara participated in many piano workshops, where she was working with really great and respected pianists.
She also performed as a soloist with orchestra.
