Gabriele Dikciute
Music Education & Performance

Gabriele Dikciute was born in Vilnius, Lithuania. She graduated from M.K.Ciurlionis School of Arts on both piano and cello.
In Lithuania, she gave a lot of concerts as a soloist and also with her piano duo. In 2014 Gabriele left for Ireland to continue her musical studies. She recently finished her Bachelor's Degree in cello performance at the Royal Irish Academy of Music with First Class honours.
While studying there Gabriele took part in various festivals and music courses around Europe and the USA, together with different chamber music groups and also as a soloist.
She also has performed with all major Irish orchestras (RTE Symphony Orchestra, Irish Chamber orchestra, RIAM Baroque orchestra among others) and is actively playing with different ensembles around Ireland.
Teaching

Gabriele started teaching 7 years ago and has worked in various Irish schools as a piano and cello tutor. She has given private one-to-one piano lessons as well as sessions in a large piano group.
For the past year, she has been working in Everest School of Music and Nord Anglia International School, where she led lessons on multiple instruments and music theory.
Teaching has been her passion since the start and throughout these years, she also co-led a number of workshops and lectures.
Orchestra projects and workshops
In 2018 Gabriele took part in Symphonic Waves chamber music project as part of Music Generation Galway County, where she had to conduct and work with chamber orchestra.
In the same year Gabriele co-lead Le Chéile project in partnership with Creative Ireland to help establish Ireland’s First National Youth Orchestra for Disabled Musicians.
Last year Gabriele also co-lead a composition workshop for BA students in association with Arts in Action, NUI Galway.
