Sophie Doyle
Music education
Sophie first started playing the piano at the age of eight. She has achieved honours and distinctions in the RIAM exams from preliminary up to grade 8.

Sophie is currently in her final year of the Bachelor of Music Education course in Trinity College Dublin. Sophie’s first study instrument is the piano, and she was one of four piano applicants to be accepted onto the course. She was one of two from her class to be offered the opportunity to spend a semester abroad at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Sophie also plays the classical flute and is a member of the Cross Board Orchestra of Ireland, who are currently preparing for their American tour, culminating in a performance at Carnegie Hall.

Teaching

Sophie has been teaching the piano for several years and has experience teaching both young children and teenagers.
She prioritises student enjoyment in lessons, alongside playing technique and introducing students to a wide range of musical genres.
She is more than happy to either prepare her students for graded exams (such as RIAM and ABRSM) or work with them on a more fun repertoire.

Sophie is passionate about sharing music and greatly enjoys teaching music to children. She hopes to open her own music school one day.
