Music Bio

​

Sophia loves both classical and traditional music, and plays a variety of instruments - piano, violin and harp.

 

She is a proud member of both of Cavan Comhaltas & Cavan Sinfonia Orchestra.  She has competed in the Fleadh Cheoil (Irish music festival), winning first place several years for her piano and lilting performances.  She has also performed with the IMBOLC Youth Folk Orchestra, and performed on the Late Late Toy Show.

 

As a teacher, Sophie is dedicated and hard-working.  She has taught students from all ages, both one-on-one sessions & group sessions.  Sophie has taught in Cavan, as well as teaching at Tempo Music School in Drumcondra.

 

Sophie is currently in her third year studying at the University College of Dublin.
