Music Education

​

Renee  is a  dedicated artistic and musical student who has committed  and made time for her education and past times,  constantly working both hand in hand . She excels in her academics and interests hand in hand . 

​

Coming from a musical family, Renee got immersed in music from a very young age. She is a multi-instrumentalist, playing the piano, concertina, flute both classical and traditional and classical violin. Her determination and dedication are highlighted by her achievements in both classical and traditional music.

 

She completed RIAM grades as far as Grade 8 on both piano and violin.

Renee received a music scholarship to the prestigious Wesley College in 2020 where she played in their orchestras and choirs and traditional groups and recently completed her leaving cert there . 
 

Teaching

​

Renee really enjoys teaching and passing her love of music to students of all levels and ages. She is great with children and has taught students as young as 5 and 6.

 

Her musical teaching experience is across many instruments, mainly focused on classical and traditional music. She teaches  piano, concertina, classical violin, classical flute and Irish whistle. 

 

She has been running a music studio back at home in Navan together with her sister since the past three years and has delivered both 1-1 and group sessions
 

Performing and Music Awards
 

Renee is a proud member of both of Cavan Comhaltas & Cavan Sinfonia Orchestra. Fleadh Performances include Ulster medals in piano flute and Uileann pipes.


Renee just recently was Leinster piano champion and had the privileged position of playing at the All Ireland fleadh in Mullingar in August 2023 . The previous year her Grupa Ceoil reached the All Ireland fleadh 2022 . 
 

She has been member of IMBOLC Youth orchestra under directorship of Dr. Ryan Molloy & Performed in the Guild hall in Derry in 2020 and also on the Late Late Toy Show in year 2015.
