Hui Han Lui

Education

 

Lui Hui Han is a Malaysian-born pianist, currently pursuing MA in Performance and Musicology at Maynooth University. 

 

Prior to this, she has obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from University Putra Malaysia, and a Licentiate (LTCL) from Trinity College London.

Teaching

​

​Hui Han has five years of teaching experience, both in her native Malaysia and also in Ireland where she has been teaching in several music schools over the last years.

​

She enjoys teaching practical piano skills as well as music theory to young students as well as adults and is able to design lesson plans according to the student's age, ability, and interests.

 

Hui Han has prepared students for ABRSM, RIAM, and Trinity College London piano exams and ABRSM theory exams.

Performing & Competitions

​

Hui Han has participated in various events and competitions and was awarded the Achievement Award for the piano solo category in the 2016 Malaysian Youth Music Festival (MYOF).

 

She was also one of the scholarship recipients of the YAMAHA Scholarship Program 2017, as well as one of the finalists at the First International Aswara Piano and Vocal Competition.

 

Hui Han has obtained gold and silver medals in the Malaysian regional round of the 5th Hong Kong International Youth Performance Art Festival and also did a solo recital during her internship at MARA University of Technology (UiTM).
