Bio

 

 

Christopher is a pianist and teacher from Dublin. He trained for four years at the Royal Irish Academy of Music under Professor Anthony Byrne, and he now studies on the RIAM Diploma in Music Performance and Pedagogy, having also been offered a place on the BMus in Performance.

His competitive achievements include winning first place in the 2025 Feis Ceoil Senior Pianoforte Solo in his first year of senior entry. He also placed second in the 2024 RIAM Piano Competition at the Whyte Recital Hall and reached the final of the 2024 Feis Ceoil Read Cup. An experienced performer, Christopher has played to audiences of over 1,000.

As an educator, Christopher has taught privately up to Senior Certificate level, and has coached children in sport since his mid teens. His diploma includes pedagogy modules in teaching method and supervised practice, and he regularly observes Professor Byrne's lessons with degree students. He also holds RIAM Grade 8 Theory.
