Anna Bugrim
Music Education

​Anna is from Ukraine, where she was born into a family of professional musicians. Her passion for music has accompanied her since early childhood; at the age of seven, she enrolled in a music school with an advanced curriculum in piano and music theory in Mariupol, Ukraine.
During her studies, Anna showed excellent results and became the winner of various Ukrainian classical piano competitions, for which she was awarded a scholarship from the city mayor.
Anna continued her education at the Mariupol College of Arts where she graduated With Honours in 2002. She then entered the Sergei Prokofiev Musical Academy in Donetsk, Ukraine, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in 2006 and a specialist degree in 2007.
Performing
As an accompanist, Anna supported a talented trumpet player at competitions in Ireland at Wesley College and Feis Ceoil in 2023 where he won two cups. Anna is also the accompanist of the National Ukrainian Choir of Ireland and took part in Phil Coulter’s “Steal Away” project.

Teaching
Anna began giving her first piano lessons while still a student. She worked as a piano teacher and accompanist at a music school and later at the Mariupol College of Arts.
She has 21 years of experience working with students of different ages and skill levels. Her advanced level students have become winners of prestigious Ukrainian competitions and international online competitions.
Anna has always strived to motivate her students to develop and achieve success, inspiring with her example and support.
