Monica Papp

Music Bio
Born into a family of music and art lovers, Monica started her musical journey at the age of 7. After being a prize winner of national piano competitions, she got admitted to the Bela Bartok Conservatory in Hungary. Monica then went on and continued her piano studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, Austria and at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague in the Netherlands. She also achieved a Diploma (Hons) in Musical Interpretation in Italy.

As a teacher and pianist with many years of experience, Monica has been involved in a variety of choir, opera, theatre, chamber music and international school programmes. She is also an accompanist who has done recordings for college, university auditions and has extensive experience in preparing students for music exams at all levels.
​
Monica has enjoyed a rich career working in different parts of the world, namely in India, the Middle-East, the USA and various countries throughout Europe. As part of enhancing her cultural experience, she was also the Founder & Artistic Director of the Twin-Cities Piano Competition that promoted western classical music for children in India.
Her motto is: “Music is for everyone.”
