Music Education

Mandy is a dedicated music educator who has achieved the remarkable feat of completing the Level 10 Exam at The Shanghai Conservatory of Music. This accomplishment demonstrates Mandy's technical proficiency and reflects her unwavering commitment to musical excellence.

 

In addition to her performance skills, she possesses a strong foundation in Music Theory which is a valuable asset in helping students grasp the fundamental principles of music. This knowledge equips her to guide students on their musical journeys effectively.
 

Teaching
With four years of piano teaching experience, she has honed her teaching skills and has developed a student-centred approach that combines patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for music. She has worked with students of varying age groups and skill levels, tailoring her instruction to meet each student's unique needs.

 

Mandy is also well-versed in teaching the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM) curriculum, which provides a comprehensive and structured approach to music education. Her favourite composers include Beethoven, Chopin and since moving to Ireland, John Field.

 

Early Childhood Education

With a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Mandy has a deep understanding of child development and how to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment.

 

Furthermore, she holds a Master's degree in Language Education from Trinity College Dublin, which enriches the way she communicates and connects with students through the universal language of music. This combination of education and music provides a holistic approach to teaching and learning.
