Frank has played the piano from the age of ten. His initial piano education centred around the graded exams of the Royal Irish Academy of Music.
In 2016 he began his primary degree at Maynooth University where he read music. Awarded a Bachelor of Music with a specialisation in Musicology and Organ Performance in 2019, he has now completed his Master’s Degree in Music at Maynooth University.
Frank is a professional Organist and Choir Director and regularly receives organ instruction at the Pro-Cathedral, Dublin, from Professor Gerard Gillen, internationally acclaimed recital organist and Professor Emeritus of the Department of Music at Maynooth University.
Frank has over 5 years teaching experience both in teaching the piano and music theory. He has thought in music schools and privately. Throughout his initial BMus degree he would regularly give music grinds to Junior and Leaving Cert Students and also teach piano privately to all ages. Frank has thought piano and theory at Sion Hill College, Blackrock, also.
Frank regularly performs as an accompanist and organist around Dublin city and the wider municipal district. Frank is also an avid choral singer and conductor which provides him with regular performance opportunities. As a choral director, he loves large musical concerts and performances under his baton performing the great works of Vivaldi, Schubert, Handel and many more. Classical music is Frank’s passion – particularly sacred music.
