Eli Chourdaki

Teaching

Originally from Crete, Greece, and residing in Ireland for the past decade, Eli has a 16-year experience in the field of music education, both in private and school settings, specialising in tuition of classical and jazz piano and theory/harmony, be it for leisure or exam preparation (ABRSM and RIAM).

 

Eli is excited to work with students of various backgrounds and musical interests. In her teaching practice, she follows a student-oriented approach, adapting to the student’s needs, musical interests, and learning pace.

Music Education

Eli holds a Piano Diploma (2007), Piano Degree (2003), and various theory-based qualifications (Harmony, Counterpoint, Morphology & History of Music, Tuition) from the Hellenic Conservatory. Eli recently completed a BA in Jazz and Contemporary Music Performance (DCU).

 

Eli also holds a BA in Philosophy and Literature (Division of Theatre Studies and Musicology) from the University of Crete (2006) and an MA in Music Therapy from the University of Limerick (2009).
