Agnieszka Bialek
Music Education
During her studies in Poland, Austria and Ireland Agnieszka was fortunate enough to work with a range of wonderful teachers, finding great support in them and necessary advice.
She graduated with a master's degree with first-class honours from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Having studied Instrumental and Vocal Music Education while taking the flute as her main instrument, she also studied Composition and Music Theory with the piano as her main instrument and specialized additionally in Chamber Music, Conducting, and Inclusive Music Education.
Teaching
For the last 9 years, Agnieszka has organized and curated various courses in Austria, Poland, and Ireland, working with both children and adults, ranging from 6-year-olds to well over 70-year-olds.
Sharing various kinds of musical experiences with others has become her passion and ultimately a profession. She focuses on teaching one-to-one, giving piano lessons, flute lessons, and aural training courses online as well as in music schools and her students' homes.
She always searches for the most optimal teaching approach and repertoire which truly resonates with each unique student, and is happy to include in her lessons a wide variety of music ranging from movie themes to classical pieces, pop songs, and improvisation. Besides assisting her students in learning piano for
fun, she also helps them to prepare for graded exams.
Performing
Agnieszka participates in various projects as a pianist, flutist, conductor, accompanist, arranger, and composer. Her passion for music comprises of multiple genres and therefore she collaborates not only with classically-trained musicians, but is also involved in the musical theatre scene and works as an arranger with rock bands.
She sings regularly in the choir of the St. Ann's Church of Ireland, Dawson Street, and for two years she was also a member of the New Dublin Voices – an award-winning choir that competes and performs internationally with great success.
As a composer, she focuses on piano music and works for soloists and small ensembles. Some of her compositions have been published by Musikverlag Dolinger.
